Bible: (Prov. 2:16) To deliver you from the strange woman, Even from the foreigner who flatters with her words;

What alien woman means, other women except of the wife? No, it means other except of wisdom!

Before this Bible tells not about wife but about wisdom:

(Prov. 2) 1 My son, if you will receive my words, And store up my commandments within you; 2 So as to turn your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you call out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures: ... 10 For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you.

So Prov. 2:16 should be understood as To deliver you from any other woman woman than a wise woman...

Do I mean that it is allowed to commit adultery against the wife (e.g. with a more clever woman)? Certainly, no. But adultery should be understand specially, as adjoining to wisdom (mind) or rather stupidity of an other woman.

Yet, indeed, Prov. 2:16 says about sexual adultery or fornication, but even legal marriage with a woman is adultery (against wisdom of God) if that woman is stupid. It is counted as adultery if one loves stupidity of a woman.

Other verses of Bible ((1Cor. 1:30) But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God...) clearly say that the wisdom of God is Christ. So here Bible saying about adultery tells not just about its external aspect (adultery against a woman) but about adultery against Christ. (Spirit of) Christ is in every believer (including every Christian woman). An adultery is against the Christ who lives in a woman rather than just against a woman herself.

So, when any man marriages with a non-believing woman (BTW, I believe that marriage of a Christian with an unbeliever is not only not allowed but impossible (never happens)) he in this sense commits adultery (against Christ). (Our wisdom is our ability to believe what God's Word says about Christ not being confused in mind.)

Moreover whenever you love in your woman something other than wisdom, it is counted as adultery! Yes, even with your own wife. (This does not mean that you would be not allowed to love a beautiful woman, but accordingly my understanding, beautify should be just a cause to love wisdom in she. We are to love wisdom not beautify, but if beautify provokes us to love a wise woman, it may be good.)

That is adultery is not when you commit adultery against your woman, but when you commit adultery against wisdom (mind, cleverness, intellect) of your woman. However anyone who adjoins an other woman, adjoins her mind also. (It is impossible to adjoin with a woman without adjoining her mind.)

And here is what is accordingly Bible caused by marriage with a stupid woman that is adultery against wisdom:

(Prov. 2) 17 Who forsakes the friend of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God: 18 For her house leads down to death, Her paths to the dead. 19 None who go to her return again, Neither do they attain to the paths of life.

This means that if you have felt in love with a stupid woman, there are no return again to wisdom, it is the end of life in covenant of God, that is after this even if you will be freed from she you will need to start your life from the beginning in the best case.
