Do we, Christians, despise pagans with a just reason?

Do we, Christians, despise pagans with a just reason?

I had the following thought:

[More:]

We despise e.g. ministers of snake god and likewise pagan religions. But doesn't snake god mean god of snakes, and as our God (which is one) is God of everybody, and being God of everybody He is also the God of snakes as well as of people. So is ministering or praying to snake god so bad? Certainly, it is bad, he who does so just has refused his human nature and attempts to serve God in an antinatural for him snake way, instead of natural for him human way as taught by Jesus Christ. But indeed doesn't he serves the same God because there are one God? He has turned from proper human state to lower state of a snake, but has he really has turned away from God?

We are to correct such a man and to return him to the human state (and to explain him that there are only one God, which may have different appearances). But should we despise him for serving other god, where there are really no other gods, as God is one?
