We are truly mad for Christ (1Cor. 4:9-10)

Below is how I have responded to a comment by some Trent to this my post:

I think that you are a mad person... psychotropic weapons, reliance on personal revelations, virtual marriage with president's daughter...

[More:]

Trent, it is even confirmed. Bible says (1Cor. 4:9-10) 9 For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all... 10 We are fools (or: mad) for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor. I believe Bible. If it says that we (apostles, or Christians in general) are mad persons, then we are really mad persons.

I interpret this verse so. We are really mad. The only difference between us and idiots is that God makes the nature around us to conform to our mad thoughts, so that our mad thoughts come true. (Sometimes world psychiatrists do likewise things in psychiatric clinics.) Yes, Bible says that a thing believed comes true (even against laws of nature). We are mad that is believe in things which are contrary to the laws of nature. But God corrects it, making our mad faith to be true. We are mad by faith.

BTW, we live by grace not by law. We are allowed to do so being really mad but corrected by God. It pertains even to the laws of physics which we also are allowed to violate.

Keywords: 1Cor. 4:9-10, 1Cor. 4:10, I Corinthians, chapter 4, 1 Corinthians, chapter 4, chapter 4 of I Corinthians, chapter 4 of 1 Corinthians, letter to Corinthians, epistle to Corinthians, mad for Christ, mad for Christ's sake, mad for sake of Christ, mad for the sake of Christ.

I read the marriage with non christian article and i must say i was appaled. i mean we must listen to the words of the lord etc. but lets not turn it into a war! is not that bad you know, falling in love with a non-christian is not tht bad, they are too god's creatures and are not all to be pushet away. Im a christian myself, love god, read the bibble etc. but my girlfriend is not christian. I am slowly explaining to her the love of God and must say im not loosing any faith, im not mixing myself with "sinners" and actually am happy i might be turning a soul for god very soon. That extreme mentallity is what made our relationship very hard to begin because christians are aquiring quiete a strong extremist image.
Sincerely, Rafael
