Recently I read that a scientist has said that human stomach has a rather complex (clever) neural system.

Read my theory on why it is separate from the head brain. I think there are two reasons: 1. safety (for the case if head or the backbone is damaged); 2. to analyze the food with radio waves like a radar.

I several minutes ago got the idea that the neural system of human stomach is (among other functions) a radar which analyzes the food inside the stomach with radio-waves. It may be built on principles similar to the principles of modern radio-telescopes but analyzes food instead of outer space.

Dependently on the result of the analysis the information systems of the human body may take a decision on how to dispense the food, e.g. how long to keep it in the stomach before delivering to the intestines, etc.

If this my theory is correct, then not only the taste of the food is important but also the its form.

It may explain, for example, why vitamin E in tablets may be sometimes harmful while it is safe in the same dozes when eaten with food, and why tablets are often harmful in general. The form of the tablets may probably confuse the neural system of the stomach (or further analysis in the head brain). Maybe simply the form of the tablets should be changed to make them safe?

P.S. Bible teaches that stomach may be harmful (when the control over it is lost) and should be well controlled by us (humbled).
