There were some information that cell phones are dangerous, namely sometimes may cause brain cancer by the radio waves they radiate near the head of the phone user. It, accordingly my knowledge, is an unconfirmed (unproved) information. But even if it is unconfirmed, the threat of brain cancer is serious. So something should be taken to protect phone users against even a possible danger.

I have the idea how to reduce the effect of the radio waves to the head of the user. At first my idea looks like just the reverse of what should be done: Use the human body as the antenna of the cell phone.

I suggest this: At the back side of the cell phone make a metallic plate which would normally contact with the hand of the cell phone user while he speaks. Let the electronics of the cell phone detects when a man touches this contact and while he holds it turn off the normal cell phone antenna but instead automatically switch to use the body of the phone user as the antenna.

I deem that this would reduce electromagnetic threat for the phone user because the energy of the cell phone would go to his hand instead of his head. Doubtless that human hand is much more resistant to electromagnetic fields than human brain.

Note that the plate which is to be in contact with the hand should be probably electromagnetically isolated (i.e. separated with an other metallic plate inside the phone) from the head of the phone speaker.

I could also suggest that the contact should be covered with micro-needles which would make the electro-contact with the hand of the user better, being little enough to not damage the skin of the hand. (I deem that 0.1mm long needles would be OK. Anyway I am not a specialist nor in medicine nor in cell phones technology and micro-electronics in general.)
