Google Sitemap for b2evolution (new, advanced)




Preliminary release of my advanced Google sitemap for b2evolution.

This is release 0.5 (4 Mar 2006) of my Google Sitemap for b2evolution.

My sitemap is rather advanced and powerful. It is also configurable. See the source for details.

Download (version 0.5)

Additionally you may apply this Google pinging patch in addition to this sitemap. (Ping patch may be currently broken.)

To install first copy the downloaded files (first removing .txt extension) to your root b2evolution category and its conf/ and b2evocore/ subdirectories as appropriate.

Test online: (Please report any problems.)

b2evolution patch to ping Google after each post
This patch for b2evolution pings Google with blog sitemap after each post. This Google sitemap for b2evolution is required for this patch to work.



Currently there are no user option to turn it off. However, who needs to turn it off?

b2evolution Google Sitemap (advanced) updated
My Google Sitemap for b2evolution is updated.

The main update is that I have added passwords to protect it from intruders. The new version is not yet thoroughly tested.

I have updated my advanced Google Sitemap for b2evolution download.



Now the file google-sitemap-misc.php and Google pinging patch are not missing.

Has anyone else tried this windows sitemapper yet? It's a beta and doesn't have some features I wanted but I guess if enough people shout up they'll get added. anyway just though I'd give it a mention as it was easier for me to use than some of these scripts.

Thanks for the Google Sitemap. I installed everything per this sites instructions and it does produce an xml file but there is no content or file info in the output. Can you let me know what I am doing wrong.

Use the GNU patch utility. Search Web for "GNU patch". On Windows it is often called patch.exe. (However not every patch.exe will work. You need namely GNU version of patch.)
